Meraki MR72(broadcom) and MR74 (IPQ4x) firmware request

Hi everyone,

I am trying to flash OpenWrt on a Cisco Meraki MR72 (Hardware: Qualcomm IPQ8064). I have my UART console and TFTP server ready, but I cannot find the firmware files anywhere.

The Issue: I have checked the official Downloads (Snapshots & Releases 23.05 / 21.02) and the Archive. While I can see the files for meraki_mr42 and meraki_mr52 (under the ipq806x/generic target), the files for MR72 and MR74 seem to be completely missing or return a 404 Not Found error.

My Request:

  1. Does anyone have a backup of a working initramfs-uImage and squashfs-sysupgrade for the MR72 (or MR74)?

  2. Is there a known build failure/bug that caused these specific images to be removed from the build bots?

Any help or a download link would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

Neither ancient release is officially supported.

If you can not browse directories without chatbot pulling your strings it is hard to find that

Is actually supported ( different platform than hallucinated though)

MR72 is broadcom and will never be supported.

Go away troll bot

im not a bot bro relax….my english isnt so good and take help from ai

Don't, AI is f-ing stupid (as you discovered just now).

At least avoid passive-aggressive ultimatum "requests" - that does not go well in any language. Besides f???ed up technical BS. You can always write a paragraph in your own languiage and translate somehow. Somebody may understand both and correct you.

"It wasn't a 'passive-aggressive ultimatum', it was a structured question from someone who is not a native speaker.

Even if I used a tool to help me translate my thoughts, your attitude came through loud and clear. If this is how you treat someone using a tool to communicate, I can only imagine how you would treat a person who is simply struggling to find the right words.

Technical knowledge is useless if you don't have basic manners. Thanks for info about mr72

QUESTION (inquiry) is not REQUEST (demand)
You claimed
1/ MR72 is same MR74, based on Wifi6 platform when on the internet you can read both ar Wifi5
2/ OpenWrt is broken, and some sabotage removed "images" when only one ever existed.

#1 MR72 is the same as the MR32, Not the MR74 which itself is based on the MR33.

#2. OpenWRT has been quite buggy lately. I shouldn’t have to reflash a MX60 from scratch using UART every time I sysupgrade snapshot builds or mainline builds.

Well, unsupportable broadcom is not addressed by posting confrontational AI slop as absolute truth.
