Memory filled by large buffer Linksys WRT3200ACM

I am quite a novice with OpenWrt. I installed it a few months ago and re-installed OpenWrt yesterday and applied a few packages SQM, adblock and some network monitoring tools. Please may I have some advice? I notice that the memory has bee filled a lot by buffers. Is there a way to clear the buffers out? What is it that is likely to be creating 243Mb of buffers?

Thanks,

As far as I know, adBlock as to keep a rather large list of blocked sites in memory. Try to disable it, or reduce the number of lists used, and see what happens.

Thanks for getting back to me. All my connections are over VPN so adblock doesn't block anything! I should have realised this. How do I uninstall it?

Thanks,
Chris.

opkg remove ...

Why do you worry about buffers? That memory can be reclaimed when needed. Can you share the output of free?
