Mediatek (filogic) is FRR install package ize correct (18.66MB)?

Hi All,
Upgraded my Cudy WR3000 to 24.10.0, but was unable to install FRR and the routing protocols I wanted.

On 23.05.5 FRR install size @1.58MB
On 24.10.0 FRR install size @ 18.66MB

More than my available space so opkg refused to install.

Is this really the install size, why the massive increase in size?

Could be dependencies for 24.10...

Hello SFX2000,

My theory is they statically compiled something, In terms of dependencies, I compared the dependency tree from 23.05.5 and 24.10.0 whe you install through Luci as its easiest way, around 2.5MB of needed packages for both (slightyl more for V24).

The figures i quoted were verified for the package info itself using opkg.

I do not think its dependent packages. I asked here to avoid downloading and looking at the Build, my C Foo is old, so fun but not productive time for me. So other than something statically linked in 24 verses dynamic in 23, what other dependencies are there?
