macOS Sequoia upgrade: Apple complains about my WLAN privacy

Hi

I got this error after upgrade

I can't find the issue in linked KB article

Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points

For the best security, performance and reliability, we recommend using these settings for all Wi-Fi routers, base stations or access points used with Apple products.

Anybody with the same problem after upgrade?
How-To fix this warning?

Lets first check if you configured your network to the letter.

Please connect to your OpenWrt device using ssh and copy the output of the following commands and post it here using the "Preformatted text </> " button:
grafik
Remember to redact passwords, MAC addresses and any public IP addresses you may have:

ubus call system board
cat /etc/config/network
cat /etc/config/wireless
cat /etc/config/dhcp
cat /etc/config/firewall

I think this a per SSID setting within the end device's settings. Personally I disable this for my home network, simply because I want to be able to check traffic volume per device, and aggregation over days is simpler with static MAC addresses for the tools I use. I also use the MAC to assign fixe IPv4 addresses via DHCP, but that is less of an issue for phones/tablets for me...

Or hide ssid or old wps on any - this or other network.

I don’t think that has anything to do with OpenWrt. There should be a setting on your Apple device. See this.

@Nicholson2, that warning has nothing to do with OpenWRT. It's coming from your Apple device when the 'Private Wi-Fi Address' (iOS) or 'Rotate Wi-Fi Address' (macOS Sequoia) option is turned off for a specific network connection.

Check out the section "Starting with iOS 14, iPadOS 14, watchOS 7, macOS Sequoia, visionOS" on support.apple.com: Private Wi-Fi addresses on Apple devices for more details.
