Mac-Filter should show mac of connected clients

Hi,

We have mac-filter in OpenWrt GUI. But this mac-filter shows the arp entry in mac list.

Is it possible to show mac of connected clients only not the arp table entry?

Perhaps I'm not understanding the goal, but it would seem to me that if there is no ARP-table entry, the router doesn't know that the device is connected. Similarly, the presence of an ARP-table entry strongly suggests that the client is connected (there is no "disconnect" event for Ethernet-connected clients).

I think he means that the WiFi MAC filter combobox should only suggest the mac addresses of associated wireless clients and not the mac addresses of all neighbours in the ARP table (including non-wifi ethernet peers).

This makes sense to me, will see if it can be easily changed.

Your understanding is correct. I need only associated wireless clients and not the mac address of all neighbours in the arp table.
Can you please help me out how can i proceed further on this.
