Mac address and many virtual ap on the same radio

Hi,
Usign a couple of mikrotik i had to assign a different mac address to any virtual ap (all on the same radio).

In my network there are also a couple of routers with Openwrt and i noticed that all virtual ap created share the same mac address... is it correct ?

I'm just curious because everything seems to work nicely (the current network topology has been running since 10 + years).

If you observed it, then it must be correct. As long as they're different SSIDs, it doesn't matter the MAC/BSSID used. It just identifies it (on air) as the same hardware.
