LXC on OpenWrt is amazing

Ive always run thick vms on a datacenter and i never got into the linux container space other than docker which is similar but the apps are executed directly so it made sense to me.

I just want to take a moment to proselytize lxc on openwrt. I had moved my dns and ntp onto openwrt away from a vm, but was never really happy because using the same IP on a dummy interface didnt work perfectly.

Once i setup an lxc container, its able to connect to the network just like it was itself a vm or standalone computer, but it fits on my router all self contained. So when i need to fix something via reboot, my complicated network just comes up like it was a simple flat home network
