LuCI Update Issue – wget error code 8 / opkg upgrade failed (Xiaomi AX3000T – 24.10.1)

here is an error as I mentioned below. I am having trouble installing all the luci packages.
Device Information: Xiaomi AX3000T - RD23 - ESMT
Current Version: 24.10.1

Executing package manager
opkg upgrade luci

 * opkg_install_pkg: Failed to download luci. Perhaps you need to run 'opkg update'?
The opkg upgrade command failed with code 255.

I reinstalled the files from scratch, but the issue was not resolved. I performed a sysupgrade using (openwrt-24.10.1-mediatek-filogic-xiaomi_mi-router-ax3000t-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin), but the problem still persists.

Even when I uninstall packages, some files or settings remain. For instance, after installing and removing luci-qos, only luci-qos is uninstalled, but other qos-related packages are not affected.

Unfortunately, the link you provided cannot be considered a solution. Can you explain the solution in more detail?

it wasn't meant as the solution, just pointing out you shouldn't update any packages.

the error message is correct, that file doesn't exist (any more), and it shouldn't matter, since you're not supposed to update it in the 1st place.
