What about luci-proto-qmi from OpenWrt in LEDE?
What about it? LuCI repo is common to both Openwrt and LEDE. Since the PR was accepted in LuCI, the package has been compiled with the LEDE buildbot:

I just checked at the beginning of this week and it didn't exist (yet, as it seems).
