Yeah, I think that's where we were headed in any case.
I sure would like to figure out the root cause for all of this, where the heck is that nodbus version coming from? I can't see anything in the avahi Makefile that would force its presence, so it must be something outside the core packages (but what?).
Oh, well, if you've got a solution (albeit pretty painful), that's good. I'll peck away at this and see if anything pops up, but hopefully apk with it's better solver will alleviate this issue in the next major release...
