I have tried.
As there's an oficial image for the Orange Pi+ and basically they are the same. I changed the dtb with one that I have in raspbian and the Orange Pi Plus 2 E booted with openwrt.
I thought that I've won, it seemed everything works (as I don't need wifi I didn't even try to install the driver).
I installed the correct driver for my usb-gigabit-ethernet adapter and I had 2 ether ports.
I can configure one as lan and the other as wan and everything works flawless, but.... (there is always a but...)
When I configure the wan as 802.1q VLAN and PPOE (as is required by my ISP) I can't browse. I don't know what really happens but I can't even update opkg.
I can ping any IP, public or LAN.
I can resolve DNS.
But when I try to browse or do anything (like opkg update) I just have a timeout...
