Low line speed, advice plz

I'm using a BT Homehub 5a with OpenWrt 18.06.4 r7808-ef686b7292 / LuCI openwrt-18.06 branch (git-19.186.54187-cbc000b). It has been running well for some time, but a couple of weeks ago we had a lot of line noise and the system reduced the line speed to 287 Kb/s. The line noise seems better now but the line speed is stuck at 287 Kb/s. The 'Overview' page gives these detais for DSL:

Can anyone offer any advice? Thanks.

Have you asked your ISP this?

SNR looks good, and line attainable rate suggests something around 8 mbps. My best guess is that it's limited by your ISP for some reason.
