Low-cost modem/router for OpenWrt

Title. Suggest me some.
I have 2 routers (Archer D5, D-Link 3782) but none of them support openwrt sadly.
I am still on ADSL2 and where i live FTTH won't be here anytime soon. I want to use openwrt for bufferbloat mitigation.

Search the forums and/or use https://openwrt.org/toh/start

https://openwrt.org/docs/techref/hardware/soc/soc.lantiq would be the only SOC with working xDSL modem support, restrict yourself to the VRX2xx generation of devices (for ADSL it's important to know the required Annex). Make sure to avoid flaky wireless hardware (RaLink/ lantiq x300), which is pretty common among these devices.
