Losing connection often

I've got OpenWRT 23.05.5 installed on 3 BT Home Hub 5A devices and have been using them for some time with no issues. I've just changed my broadband provider and made the relevant changes the setup (specifically changing the addresses from 192.168.0.x to 192.168.55.x) and it works as expected with one exception. About once a day on average (but I can't see any pattern to it) I lose connection to my OpenWRT routers plus the routers that are connected to them - so the hub/bridge inside the OpenWRT router also stops routing any traffic. I've tried switching two of the routers to see if that helped and I've tried switching the ports I'm using. I've also tried un-bridging the WAN port but none of these have helped.

In addition, I see two behaviours - sometimes the connetion just comes back without intervention but most of the time I need to restart the router to re-establish the connection.

I'm very happy working with linux tools on the command line so happy to undertake troubleshooting steps but I'm not sure where to look.

ICMP drop rates over 2 hours and 1 day as viewed from collectd-mod-ping on the OpenWRT router which is directly connected to the main ISP provided router I'm using.

related ?

????

was something else changed, but the IPs ?

what's the reason for double NATing ?

Yes, I'll comment on that bug. It seems similar.

No other changes to my set up before I saw this issue (but I've tried changing quite a lot since!)

I'm not double NATing - I have a router provided by my ISP which runs the DHCP server - then all my OpenWRT devices are joined on to that network, do not run DHCP, and use IP addresses provided by the ISP's router. The OpenWRT devices are not acting as a router, just as a hub/switch and providing a Wifi mesh.

Is the change for "tx ring full" console messages included in any released versions of OpenWRT?

I have no idea, ignore it I guess it probably has nothing to do with the problem you are having
