as the title suggests, i would like to get an access point that it is less than 50€ in EU and supports OpenWRT, for SoHo usage. Any suggestions, links, please?
So for business usage? What is your incoming line speed? Maximum on same line provided?
not bussiness. Small Office Home Office. For home LAN and my office that i am running consultation services.
i am not interested so much in the incoming line speed to much the AP's speed. rather i am looking to have the max speed in the LAN for services.
then you should buy a switch ?
the DAP-X1860 is 30€ (in DE), but it only got one Ethernet port.
AX23 is 50€.
So for your small business use (we are not upselling overpriced garbage, its just that you can discount vat on business expense) you have to count how many wired lan ports you need , if you connect a printer or backup gsm to usb port, and enter desired number in hardware list. 3-4-5, for more youd need a switch. LAN does no packet examination and runs at wire speed.
50€ would not do NAT at gigabit, youll need some 100€ aka filogic to achieve that.
please ignore business expenses.
i got my wired part is covered, including printers. i need to cover a couple of laptops and i need wifi 6.
Any from the list. gl-inet or cudy are cheap (as long as you get free shipping) but asus or tplink are omnipresent.
60 bux Archer AX23 or RT-AX53U (discount VAT and you have it)
Yeah. I read that as wifi7
I'd still suggest doubling the budget, for same wifi6
