You can use lxc or docker on some arch as arm64.
I was using the lxc method described here, OpenWrt ARM64 QUICK LXC HOWTO/GUIDE (LMS in Debian System in LXC Container)
But I have now replaced it by a docker installation, which is simpler to maintain and update and look also faster…
