Hey all:)
I recently made this blog post about setting up a local chat on a captive portal, using OpenWrt and the GL.iNet Slate Router. It's really fun to use, since the captive portal is aggressive and make sure people don't miss the chat when connected! I feel like there are some pieces of the exploration that the OpenWrt community could be interested in (setting up a python server as a daemon, captive portals without a WiFi connection, etc)
Anyways, would love to hear if any of y'all had feedback or had tried similar experiments before!
