I wanted to attempt the veth method as described by @dlakelan
I legit put 2k into a pc to test my connection and I am not happy with the performance of my connection. I am going to try perform some magic with linux and just teardown the entire router, build it from the ground up. This is similiar to like MintOS Linux/Archlinux right? the bloated OS vs the bare minimal. I don't want any interference in packet transfer so I can basically make this DSL function like cable in terms of packet latency, I mean were talking ~200 kb packets here it should not take a home brew to get some raw power or pure speed if you will. But none the less this device will be built, and I hope to achieve a desirable outcome since I have come a long way with the help of the community, I would like to continue advancing and build a homebrew using the OpenWRT kernal or "snapshot of master".
