Linksys wrt32x disconnects on ac

I have a linksys wrt32x router that I have flashed with the latest venom firmware.

It behaves very peculiar on the ac 5GHz bands. The network name becomes invisible and it drops all connections save one. After a reboot the name becomes visible again for a very short period of time.

Is there a way to troubleshoot this?

Thank you.

Running what?
Mine runs fine in general, I do see occational reconnects like once every third day or so on my WDS link (ath10k, Linksys EA6350v3) but other than that it works fine.
Both are running r10512 with some mild performance patching but that shouldn't affect wifi stability.

Perhaps it's the DFS feature? Are you using a channel that can cause radar interferences in your area?

No idea, I just assumed it's minor quirk in terms of interraction between the radios (ath10k and mwlwifi).

I am not aware of any radar in the area. Also an ASUS router that was replaced by this didn't have any of these problems.
Thank you.

I looked into this a bit more and it seems to some kind of inactivity check...

WDS client (ath10k-ct):

wlan1: disassociated from XXX (Reason: 4=DISASSOC_DUE_TO_INACTIVITY)
br-lan: port 2(wlan1) entered disabled state

wlan1: RX AssocResp from XXX (capab=0x11 status=0 aid=2)
wlan1: associated

WDS (WRT3200ACM):

hostapd: wlan0: AP-STA-DISCONNECTED XXX
hostapd: wlan0: STA XXX IEEE 802.11: disassociated due to inactivity

Interestingly I see this error as far as I can tell much the exact time each day

hostapd: wlan0: STA XXX WPA: group key handshake failed (RSN) after 4 tries
