Linksys WRT3200ACM short WiFi range on both 2,4 GHz and 5 GHz

I have a older Linksys WRT3200ACM running LEDE 17.01.04
Have problem with the WiFi range on both 2,4 GHz and 5 GHz.
I have upgraded the WiFi driver to the latest with :
kmod-mwlwifi_4.4.92.10.3.4.0-20180305-b1b9a9e-9325_arm_cortex-a9_vfpv3.ipk
And radio2 is disable.

(The range is much shorter then a old ASUS RT-AC66U.)
Recommendations?
Still ver short range,
What is wrong?

Set Distance Optimization to something like 1000.

Also, a few recommendations...

2.4 Ghz -

Take channel selection off auto and use either channel 1, 6, or 11 (even if you are in the EU).

Set channel width to HT20.

Transmit power can be set up to 25.

5 Ghz -

Change the channel to one in the higher range that doesn't require DFS, In the US, I recommend starting at 153.

Set channel width to VHT80 (if router is 802.11ac).

Transmit power can be set up to 30.

Both -

Set encryption to WPA2-PSK and AES.

I have a question about your post.

How have you managed to put transmit power to 25 on radio1?
How have you managed to put transmit power to 30 on radio0?

Do you have a Linksys WRT3200ACM running
LEDE Reboot 17.01.4 r3560-79f57e422d?

Om my device max transmit power is max 20 on radio0 and radio1.
Radio2 is disable by me because of recommendation,
but ther you have the possibility to put transmit power higher then 20.

I don't understand how you have manage to do this.
Please give me instructions.

You can't. The power table is embedded and cannot be overridden.

Can you change or hack the hardware so that the transmit power gets higher?

Depends on your location as to what you can set.

I put a link in this thread regarding the only thing I am currently aware of modding. The power table is fixed by the locale from where unit was purchased; CA,US,FR...
