I installed OpenWRT on the Linksys Network Storage Link NSLU2 and now I can't remove it by uploading the default firmware

I would assume you follow the same method as installing OpenWrt... did you try with upslug2 (assuming this utility still exists -- your device is ancient).
nope, I did it though its web interface
Try following the OpenWrt installation instructions, but substitute the original firmware file in place of the OpenWrt one.
I tried using the NSLU2_V23R63.bin by doing it in the openwrt web interface but I get an error
I'm on a Windows PC, I don't use linux
It is clear that the vendor firmware is not supported via the openwrt sysupgrade process, so you will need to use the method described in the instructions. This means you need to use Linux.
Try using a live Linux usb stick. This may work for the needed utility while not requiring you to actually install Linux or otherwise disturb your windows installation
what about flashing it with a OS? I just need it to be a USB NAS Server
OpenWRT can be this for you, no need to flash it back.
I don't see disk in openwrt
you won't until you install the requires additional modules.
not tech savvy
If you’re not tech savvy, how (and why) did you install OpenWrt onto your device?
I used the web interface to install openwrt and now I can't use the same thing to change it back
Ok... but why did you install OpenWrt? What were you trying to achieve with OpenWrt that you couldn't do from the vendor firmware?
Direct Attach Storage
I don't think that this device is designed as a DAS. It is a NAS only.
well the software that came with it have you Map the drive? I just want to use it for my two HDD NTFS on the network but not over the internet, so I need to flash it with a OS that can connect my drives on my network
That describes a NAS, not a DAS.
OpenWrt can do this -- you can use a SAMBA server and the correct ntfs filesystem support and it should work.
You're likely running a very old version of OpenWrt, so I may not be able to help with the specifics.... let's see what's happening:
Please connect to your OpenWrt device using ssh and copy the output of the following command and post it here using the "Preformatted text </> " button (red circle; this works best in the 'Markdown' composer view in the blue oval):

ubus call system board
unable to do that, just want to reflash it in its web GUI
