Linksys MX5300 - Which radio should I use for wireless backhaul for batman mesh?

I am following this guide to set up a mesh with the batman protocol on 4 Linksys MX5300s flashed with 24.10. I got the "Configuring Batman" step but don't know which radios to use for the wireless backhaul. I know one the 5GHz radios will be best, but which should I start with?

The LuCi overview page (screenshot below) conflicts with the techinfodepot device page as far as radio models so I'm a bit confused. Should I use radio1 or radio2? Is AC or AX better? Any help is appreciated!

According to the commit adding support for the device, both the 5GHz radios are 4x4 and I believe that they both support 160MHz wide channels, so, whichever one is most convenient for planning your non-backhaul channels.
