Hey, so I'm considering getting 3 MX4200 routers or 3 MX5300 routers and I'm not sure which would be better. I have a 600 Mbps down link from my ISP and I would prefer to run stock OpenWRT but I could also use the community builds with nss if needed. I know the MX5300 has a more capable processor but 1 of the 5 GHZ bands is AC not AX so either the backhaul would be able to use AX or client devices would be able to use AX, not both. With either setup, it would always be client-hop-router or client-router and not client-hop-hop-router. All hops would be in good range of the main router as well. Maybe 1-2 walls and 15-20 feet at the most. Would I be able to get close to those 600 Mbps speeds on my client devices? Do I sacrifice the CPU to get all 3 bands with AX instead of 2 AX and 1 AC? Would I need to use the community builds with nss? Does nss hurt ping and latency? Not looking to game or anything wirelessly and don't need SQM. Price isn't really a factor here but the MX4200 setup would be a little bit cheaper.
Thank you in advance
