Linksys EA9500 how to install noob

I've just bought these router Linksys EA9500 and it seems that to install OpenWRT I need a serial cable that I've to plug inside and going in CFE mode..
All that stuff that I never did.
Can someone explain to me how I'll find a serial cable compatible with? How can I use it... The page : https://openwrt.org/toh/linksys/ea9500_v1
have no link to explain how to use a serial cable and all that stuff.

Thanks

Only if you have the US model...

USB TTL: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LODGRV8/ + Putty.

I bought this in US, so I assume this is a US model. Or maybe, where I can find if it's a US or not ?
And BTW, no ssh port seems to work after the factory reset.

Is there a place on eBay I can find the right a premade cable ? What should I search exactly?

Look for USB TTL.

Ok, so maybe this one should fit :

Looks OK, I just don't see the 3.3v jumper they describe, in the photo.

I'm confused on your point.
The listing said that:
Note: After setting 3.3V and 5.0V output (this is
To the microcontroller power supply, no need to upgrade the machine)
please put the small plate unplug from the computer, set the jumper to take, do not charged to avoid damage to the device.

So does it means it's not compatible with this router and my research should be about USB TTL 3.3V jumper? In fact, the RED cable is 5V but if we leave unplug ?? I don't get the point.

Point is, the description is sh-t, and doesn't make sense.

And no, the Vcc should be be connected.

Can you point me a good eBay listing to avoid any mistake.
Thanks

Ok, I see it's not a pre-made cable.

Is that a problem ?

Kind of.. It's not plug and play.. I don't get the catch with the jumper and I can make a mistake.
I don't know either if there enough room inside the router to put the device plus I hope that any USB extension will fit..

You don't need to put it inside, and it's only really needed for 5 mins, during initial flash.

Jumper controls voltage.

I need to connect the pins inside the router. Btw, for the flashing, it's unclear which file should I use. If I'm guessing right, is should be this :
https://downloads.openwrt.org/snapshots/targets/bcm53xx/generic/openwrt-bcm53xx-generic-linksys_ea9500-squashfs.trx

Yes, that's what the photo shows too....

There's only one file available when flashing - https://firmware-selector.openwrt.org/?version=23.05.5&target=bcm53xx%2Fgeneric&id=linksys_ea9500

Before you proceed, did you read the warning on top of the wiki page I posted ?

The square about the Broadcom WiFi? It seems that the only problem is with the channel and no 5G ?

My problem when I bought this is I was looking for a model with 8 LAN port compatible with OpenWRT...

Yeah, that one.

Just wanted to make sure you understood what you were getting in terms of wifi.
