repaired the router, replaced the bad flash memory (mx30lf1g..), but there are no factory (mtd2) and devinfo(mtd4) sections, can anyone share with me the partitions from this router? I understand that they are unique, devinfo can be edited, factory at least be different, than there is no factory
sorry for my english
gcat000,
Welcome to the forum.
We need more info about your firmware to help you. Are you running OEM or OpenWrt firmware, and which version?
Did you try to read the defect flash memory, after removing it? Maybe the missing mtd's are still on it?
As I do not have this device I can not help you further with the missing mtd 2 and mtd4.
Regards, DGdodo.
hi, thanks for your response
I re-soldered the flash memory, installed the u-boot bootloader and installed openwrt, but I don't have the factory eeprom and devinfo partitions..mtd2 and mtd4) I don't know where to get them, the ones from another similar Linksys router will do. The devinfo partition contains text strings and can be edited in a hex editor (mac addresses, etc.)
I tried to read the old flash memory, it's broken, only FF are read and many bad blocks after programming , does not pass the verify after flashing on tl866-ii+
