Linksys E1200 V2

I am planning to switch my Linksys E1200 V2 from Tomato to Lede, however, under https://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/linksys/linksys_e1200_2 I see wireless is not supported (no wifi option under OpenWRT network menu)

how is the situation with Lede? Does the current snapshot support Linksys E1200 V2 with Wifi?

No opensource driver exists for the BCM5357C0 wifi chipset, this situation is extremely unlikely to change anytime soon (ever).

So, why does wiki for e900 say WiFi is supported?

It doesn't say that.

It says:
WLAN 2.4GHz: b/g/n
WLAN Comments: Broadcom 802.11n support is sketchy as ever; [2x2

So - b/g is supported well in my understanding. It's misleading to me. Fortunately i was able to flash back to original firmware.

The former exclusively mentions the hardware capabilities, the later is ambiguous at best and shouldn't be taken as a sign for working driver support.
