LEDE/OpenWRT for (UBNT) Ubiquiti AirCube AC

I see there are a bunch of Ubiquiti / UBNT products that support Lede being installed, however also note some of the newer hardware is being locked from custom firmware.

Does anyone know if the relatively new AirCube AC (Aug '17) can have Lede installed and how I would go about it? Will firmware for other Ubiquiti products work with this device, as I can’t find advice/firmware specific to this model?

If your router is not listed in the Table of Hardware, it currently is not supported.

Installing firmware specific for another router is usually not a good idea.
