LEDE 17.01.02 on WN2500RP-V1 no wifi

Trying to install the WN2500RP-V1 firmware, but I guess the radio isn't supported so I had no wlan. Had to use nmrpflash to return to stock

Are you sure that you have a WN2500RPV1 in your hands? The informations from the log don't seem to correlate with the Wikidevi information: https://wikidevi.com/wiki/Netgear_WN2500RPv1 (fcc id PY311300171)

Switch: Broadcom BCM5358UB0
WI1 chip1: Broadcom BCM5358UB0
WI2 chip1: Broadcom BCM43236

I have a WN2500RP and it uses the V1 firmware, so I'm assuming it's a WN2500RP V1, unless Netgear happens to have released another board revision....

I just recently got this device. I've gotten the same results as you did. Did you ever figure it out?

Hi @santhail @closetedepicfail I created a wiki page with info about limited wireless support for 5GHz AP mode and howto setup wan/lan. A pullrequest which fixes the switch lan port order has also been made.

Quick steps install 19.07rc2 and remove/install following packages!

opkg update
opkg remove kmod-b43
opkg install kmod-usb2 usbutils kmod-brcmfmac kmod-mac80211
lsusb #wifi detected otherwise hard poweroff
poweroff;exit
