Ksmbd Unable to find suitable address

Hi,

After setting up of ksmdb mention in this thread I am unable to connect and receiving the following error:

mount error(111): could not connect to 10.1.1.4Unable to find suitable address.

The connection details:

sudo mount -t cifs //10.1.1.4/mnt/sda1 /mnt/sda1 -o user=aaron

Thanks,

Aaron

does it work from a Windows box ?

I don't have a Windows machine to test on.

then why use smb in the 1st place ?

Well, I used to have Windows but now I don't use it anymore. What is a Linux replace them that I can install on OpenWrt?

that would be NFS.

Ah ok! What folders do I need to remove after removing the ksmdb package?

Folders ?

Don't need to remove anything.

I thought there would be folders I would need to delete after deleting ksmbd so that the folder and files within don't clutter the system?

There might be something in /etc but it'll be gone after next flash anyway.
