OK, this is likely me, but pulling my hair out ... 
. I have pulled the latest code from Github, built a new .chk file for my wndr3700v3 => build goes fine, but the kernel version I see after loading this build is 4.4.85, yet the packages built (in the bin directory) are 4.4.88 ... so I can't use any of them. Any thoughts why this is happening? I have run a full clean and rebuild => same issue.
I'm trying to enable USB ... and I have updated the configuration (make menuconfig, enabled USB) ... but they aren't in my kernel. I have a feeling something is overriding this setup, but have been searching and for the life of me I can't find it.
