The problem occurs because the partition table of the device flash memory is incompatible with the kernel. So, the kernel starts but then reboots my device. Is there any way to interrupt the kernel loading process via serial connection and to enter its console?

U-Boot recovery solutions are not suitable for me.

I'm confused can't you just re flash the unit ? is should fix up any problems ?

Your kernel is not told where to find rootfs;

[ 0.000000] Kernel command line: console=ttyMSM0,115200n8
[ 0.000000] Bootloader command line (ignored): console=ttyHSL1,115200n8

Please explain where the image came from... or what version /s and or any other alterations you've done previously to get the device into it's current environment....

( you may wish to search the forum/wiki for the 3 power cycle / altboot method or similar for your device )

the boot log show r7808-ef686b7292
witch is OpenWrt 18.06.4 r7808-ef686b7292
same version basic version is installed in mine
I'm going to take a guess he didn't not read in the install instructions
about flashing older firmware twice but i could be wrong
but there is not enough information given to come to any conclusion
I'm going to just put the ea8500 pages
https://openwrt.org/toh/linksys/linksys_ea8500
https://openwrt.org/toh/linksys/linksys_ea8500#oem_easy_installation
http://mrjcd.com/EA8500_DD-WRT/
I think a tftp de brick with the old 1.1.4 stock firmware would be where I would start

I just compared the logs and there is a difference
this unit has 256M NAND maybe this is a new version ?

OK, the device is not actually Linksys EA8500 but it runs that kernel. The actual device has another partition table of flash memory. So, the partition with root fs is located in a different place than the kernel expects.

The question is how can it be that I cannot access to working kernel console? Why does the kernel reboot and doesn't wait for any command to fix the booting process (I could enter 'reboot' command manually would I consider doing this)? Is here somebody who knows secret combination of keys to interrupt Linksys EA8500 kernel booting?

hmmmmmm..... mutually exclusive...?

It is exclusive that a device with working U-Boot and kernel cannot be unbricked without NAND flashing:)
Unfortunately, U-Boot from the actual device seems to be not supporting TFTP. The device supports another way to recover but I need to wait 5 seconds to enter that mode, however the kernel reboots the device in 3 seconds...

I think maybe the missing "ubi.mtd=14"
is a uboot environment variable
can you get to a uboot prompt ?
add with setenv ?
maybe lookup printenv & setenv

there is often a way to corrupt the crc check on a booting device
some uboot version check a crc of the kernel so it's ok to run
if your quick & good with a grounded metal object & get your timing right
you can make if fail buy shorting the flash chip while reading the kernel for the check
but so much can go wrong it's a last resort before the trash can
and you don't know what option will run on a crc fail before you try it

You need to fix your firmware, U-Boot, or DTB so that the proper file system type for the root file system is where the kernel was instructed to find it.

Umm, because the kernel isn’t application software. I doesn’t have a “console” that accepts input and interactive commands. You’re far from the point of having interactive software running.

Do you understand that you can’t flash embedded firmware from one device to another, just because they use the same SoC?

Kernel command line: console=ttyMSM0,115200n8 here should be ubi.mtd=14 or ubi.mtd=16
if you can connect via serial please show your # printenv
you can try to add...

setenv partbootargs console=ttyMSM0,115200n8 init=/sbin/init rootfstype=squashfs root=/dev/mtd14
setenv partbootargs2 console=ttyMSM0,115200n8 init=/sbin/init rootfstype=squashfs root=/dev/mtd16
saveenv
