Keep using Xiaomi AX6s or switch to Zyxel T56

Yesterday I received the Zyxel T56 for our new Odido fiber connection (1Gb up/down).
Currently I’m using a Xiaomi AX6s running OpenWRT 24.10.0 behind our Ziggo modem.
The AX6s does everything I want/need (wireguard, adguard, QoS) and is stable.
Which questions should I answer to decide to either install OpenWRT on the T56, or keep using the AX6s and store the T56 in the attic?

I would start answering basic questions:
Do I need slower internet speed? And then you can continue with do I need slower ,processor, lower Ram, Usb... etc, when you answer these question you will realease that Zyxel > Xiaomi.

I would at least install Openwrt on the T56, if Odido finally manages to get their firmware updates right, they'll kill the possibility of installing Openwrt.

If you forget it, and plug it in, it'll auto update.
