Not an option for RD23 since there is no firmware for the global version of AX3000T.
I do not know the difference between both models, but If recovery can boot of it, you can flash any firmware to it.
And then additional steps from: https://openwrt.org/inbox/toh/xiaomi/ax3000t#change_to_openwrt_u-boot
I think it fixes bootloader scetions completly, so then you can restore to original u-boot (not openwrt)
Aggre with this point, I wasn't able to use this tool for RD23 version after many attempts.
I have trouble with wifi calibration partition! Any hints to recover it without backup for this partiotion?(
You need identical model partition backup and then hex edit to match your Mac address.
I had additional router when I screwed up.
hey everyone! mtk_uartboot on my bricked ax3000t. Uart is dead, hold reset button doesn’t respond. Tftp recovery doesnt work too. Any ideas?
If there is no output on the UART then the mtkboot process won't have anything to connect to.
No output at all indicates a hardware fault - such as a dead SOC or nand.
Forcing the UART adapter to 3.3v is absolutely necessary to make it work (my post about that).
On my side I'm able to run it from UART but as I have firmware 1.0.84 I don't have ethernet after that Xmodem is an alternative to send the backups to the device once booted but then I don't know how to restore it
I will wait to have FIP image working with ethernet switch of the 1.0.84 and then I will have to find how to restore my backups (Bdata.bin, BL2.bin, Factory.bin, FIP.bin, KF.bin, Nvram.bin and ubi.bin).
Can you share dump of this router please? nand chip also tell me please
