Issues with frame management protection

I recently installed openwrt on my XR500. I own several blink cameras and when I would try to connect them to my network, they would fail to connect. I checked the router log and it would say AP-STA-POSSIBLE-PSK-MISMATCH. I saw in another forum that the issue was frame management protection, I disabled it (was set to optional beforehand) and the cameras now work! However, now my Apple devices fail to connect with the generic error message “Unable to connect to network”. What should I do? Is there something I’m missing?

IoT (-like) devices not supporting 802.11w is a shame, but not unexpected. Disabling 802.11w effectively changes the encryption type, so you may have to delete and reconfigure your devices again.

Thank you, will try this. It’s unfortunate that I can’t use FMP since I’d prefer to not be vulnerable to deauth attacks but if it’s what I have to do then I guess it’s fine.
