So as i was trying to disable read of most files for non-root users i screwed up some vital permissions and currently can not log in as anyone but root. The error i get is access denied even though password is correct. I use dropbear.
I spent a lot of time in setting all up, i would rather fix the perms than reinstall.
anything else is impossible to judge blindly, without seeing and/ or knowing what you've done exactly.
Ok. Well if i reinstall is ok. I loaded a backup atm and i figured i do not need to do a lot of stuff hence will have more mem.
Can you tell me how do i disable root access (read actually) from users for SFTP?
this wil lnot disable login as root? Just login of users as root?
