Issue with kmod-rt61-pci on pirelli DRG A226M router

Hello all,
I have a router pirelli DRG A226M with Ralink RT2661T miniPCI wireless card.
I installed latest LEDE 17.01.1 firmware using the kmod-rt61-pci driver, but wifi stop working after some minutes and system logs contain a lot of these messages:

Mon May 22 14:26:29 2017 kern.warn kernel: [12966.926707] ieee80211 phy0: rt61pci_txdone: Warning - TX status report missed for entry 31

Some years ago has been submitted a bug to openwrt for this issue:
https://dev.openwrt.org/ticket/18228

https://www.mail-archive.com/search?l=openwrt-tickets@lists.openwrt.org&q=subject:"\[OpenWrt\-Tickets\]+\[OpenWrt\]+%2318228\%3A+rt61pci\%3A+TX+status+report+missed+for+all+entries%2C+wifi+stops+working"&o=newest&f=1

but it han never been solved.

can someone solve this bug?
thanks
Ivan

why not swap this minipci RT3062F 300M 7$ instead, I used it with success and way better performance

regards

thanks for your answer, unfortunately that seller doesn't ship in italy, I already bought another minipci wireless card (intel), but there is no driver for it. Then, if I won't be able to solve this issue I will buy another router (it is cheaper).
thanks
Ivan
