Issue with DHCP when using special ip lan address

Hi, i encounter a issue on OpenWRT (24.10) installed on an ASUS RT-AX89X
each time I change the default lan ip address (192.168.1.1) into something else
(i tried 172.16.0.254 and 192.168.0.254) the DHCP doesn't work, i can use static ip on my computer to recover access to the new network, but i can't make the dhcp work anymore. if I change back to the default address in GUI or via command line through SSH, the DHCP work fine, can you help me with this ? thx

What does the logs say ?

Are all devices connected directly to the Asus ?

Yes I have similar problem in 24.10.x

LAN IP: 192.168.1.100/24
DHCP range: 192.168.1.50 ~ 90
DHCP range: 192.168.1.80 ~ 200
The above all fail to assign ip to clients.

DHCP range: 192.168.1.101 ~ 200
This works fine.

Then I switch to snapshot,
No such DHCP problems at all.

It is mandatory that the router ip is outside the dhcp range.
