Isolated issue configuring OpenWRT One w/ CM-32_AC2600 w/ Reyee E6 Wifi 6 mesh router

For days now, I have tried to configure my OpenWRT One router. I encountered some very unusual events that kept changing my static settings on my ASUS CM-32-AC2600 modem by changing the dhcp scope to 192.168.1.* to include disabling DOD IPV6 firewall. After numerous (resets trying to configure my One) attempts, I've added two switches, one switch for all my internal devices and the other switch for cell booster with Reyee E6 Wifi 6 mesh router. Reyee E6 Wifi 6 mesh router is isolated just for IP cameras. After configuring my One; ready to begin testing for DNS leaks, I plugged in the Reyee E6 Wifi 6 mesh router and withing minutes, I lost connections to my streaming devices (firesticks) and NAS server. It masked (mimic) my ONE static DHCP IPV4 address on my moden IP address for OpenWRT ONE. Currently, I blocked the mac and disconnected the device. Knowing now that my cable modem i vulnerable, is there an OpenWRT image I can flash for the Reyee E6 to include for CM-32_AC2600 or recommendations for for replacement devices? Funny thing, I cannot access LUCI now. I'm sure the process I loss my way somewhere in the process trying to identify the problem. Removed dnsmasq and replaced w/ Unbound, AdguardHome, HTTP-DNS-Proxy and configured NGIX reverse proxy.

Check if modem can be put in bridge mode, if not you'll have to double NAT, if you want to control the traffic.

Reset the One, put the E6 in AP mode.

There's no OpenWRT support for the E6.

Perhaps you should get things going without those additional features?

No success w/ bridge mode, it kept power cycling. Had to default modem. Any recommendations for replacing for cable modem and wifi router?. I don't feel comfortable knowing this particular modem can be altered so easily

There are exactly zero cable modems supported by Openwrt.

I understand, I was asking for recommendations.

For non-Openwrt capable modems ?
