Is WL-WN572HP3 (not -4G version) supported?

Hello,

I'm trying to figure out if WL-WN572HP3 is supported. I see that WS-WN572HP3 4G which is the modem variant is supported. I also see another variant WL-WN572HG3 seems to have support on the way.

Not sure if I can simply just flash the firmware build for the WN572HP3 4G onto my WL-WN572HP3 (non modem variant) and expect that to work or if it may brick that. Hoping someone can help point me in the right direction on what should be done. Seems like this might be the case but I'm not sure since they mention WS instead of WL in the model. Not sure if they are using the modem variant or not. Wavlink ws-wn572hp3 update

I guess I wouldn't mind giving it a try just to see as long as I know I have a chance to unbrick it if it does not work out. Not sure if that is possible or it is.

Apparently not.
Are 4G or 5G designations of installed GSM options?
Could you post a boot log from your device to verify it is same HW minus one part?

Not too familiar with the 4G designation but that looks to be the case of just integrating GSM cellular capability. I'll try to see if I can grab the boot logs from it.

You have the device, hyou can check whether it is same and eventually add device alias (or confirm it is too different)
