Is this router good for what I need it for?

Hello,
I hope everyone's day is going well.
I would like to upgrade my router, as the current router I have (Archer C7) only has one CPU core. My problem is when I game and livestream at the same time, my game feels as if I had +70 to +90 ping added, even though my ping reads back only +3 or +4. I made a post about this latency here, if you would like to read it.
I am looking at this dual core option (NETGEAR Nighthawk R7800), and I'm wondering, would this be what I'm looking for? A lot of the quad core options I saw were out of my price range.

Please let me know if you have any experience upgrading to or using a dual-core router, and if it made a difference for you.

The r7800 is still a very good option and 50/22 MBit/s (with sqm) is easy for it (with sqm, it can do up to ~190 MBit/s).
