there's no wifi specific package, it appears to be part of the main one.

i have installed openwrt in virtual box , i cant see any wifi or wireless option in it

do you have installed all modules required for support of wireless cards ?
(assuming you actually have a wifi card in there, too)

In addition to what @frollic has asked re: drivers/modules, the oher thing that is required is for your host OS + VB to actually provide access to the wireless hardware that is presumably in your system. In the absence of hardware that is visible to OpenWrt (and/or the drivers), the LuCI wireless section will not be available or visible.
