Is there a way to make DLNA work across different VLAN subnets?

Is there a way to make DLNA work across different VLAN subnets ?

I have my PC's & NAS box on subnet 3, and my TV's and media players on subnet 4. I'd like to access music on my NAS box DLNA service (subnet 3), from my TV and media players (subnet 4).

I have created a firewall Traffic Rule to allow access between subnets 3 and 4, and tried it. It works for normal access (SSH, file browsing, HTTP), but I cannot get the TV's to see the NAS box. I enabled UDP, TCP, ICMP, IGMP, IPSEC.

Are there any other steps I can take to make this work ?

Thanks

Thanks for the feedback, but I'll need some explanation for it to help me.

Where do I find smcroute.conf ? Find on the command line doesn't show it.

Can I assume I apply the firewall rules via the Custom Rules tab in LuCi (with the device names appropriate for my interfaces), or should they go in another file ?

Thanks

Yep, unless you find a way to convert them to UCI format.
