Is there a database of Custom User Files for PBR?

Hi,

I have setup Policy Based Routing fine but Amazon Video doesn’t work even with WAN being the default gateway. I’m not in the continental USA so the examples of Custom User Files are not that useful. Before I look at editing the provided files I thought I’d ask if there was a database. I have a room on AirBnB so it’d be useful to create a few files for different streaming providers and some common European countries.

Incidentally: I’ve put a policy to send all traffic from my smart-tv, phone and tablet to WAN, so it works. Not ideal though.

Not that I know of.

There are two included and you can also have a look at:

Maybe that gives you some inspiration but domain based routing for those streaming services is difficult as there are a lot of domains involved.

You must also take care of DNS leak as they will check that too see:

Yes, unfortunately continental USA if you follow the help link. Netflix and AWS would actually be the most useful if they were somewhere close.

This is what I feared. Especially with multiple streaming services and multiple countries. Hoping Netflix and Prime Video stream from same place in Europe to many countries.

I already have Adguard Home with only encrypted upstream servers already set so even if they leak it is encrypted.

Thanks for the links though. I may have seen them on searching earlier but will have another look.

Incidentally, if you have PBR installed is there a pbr directory in /use/share/? I went to that directory to copy a provided file format and I can’t find it. Full path is:

/usr/share/pbr/pbr.user.aws

I don’t seem to have a pbr directory, although obviously I have pbr installed. I am wondering if I need an added package: I have installed the ones in the instruction document (pbr and luci-app-pbr) but there is also a pbrd.

Those files should be added when you install PBR and Luci-PBR

They are also still in the repo: https://github.com/stangri/pbr/tree/1.1.8/files/usr/share/pbr.

I have those files installed:

root@DL-WRX36:~# ls -la /usr/share/pbr
drwxr-xr-x 1 root root 456 Jun 6 15:07 .
drwxr-xr-x 1 root root 424 May 31 12:29 ..
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Jun 5 18:58 .keep
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 198 Jun 5 18:58 firewall.include
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 856 Jun 5 18:58 pbr.user.aws
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2434 Jun 5 18:58 pbr.user.netflix

Not entirely sure why I don’t. Have checked both SSH and WinSCP. I don’t have the directory or files. But thanks to your link I can just recreate the directory and download the files into it. Doesn’t seem just North America. May just turn it on and see if it works here.
