Vodafone is using this router on vdsl connections which has decent specs I guess. That router probably has the MediaTek MT7511 but it isn't even listed here. Should I give up hope for openwrt on this router and buy something else in the future?
I managed to find a root user for it to view more advanced settings on its stock firmware but I haven't managed connecting to it via ssh yet.
I wouldn't get my hopes up.
I have just managed to enable ssh via decrypting the config.bin and changing enable_ssh from 0 to 1 and then encrypting and uploading the config. I logged into it successfully and now I'm into CLI.
Update: I have managed to find an older firmware and I have downgraded the router and now I also have gained access to shell.
Is there anything I can do from my end to get any helpful info from the device that could help for openwrt support?
