Hi, on the openwrt Blue One router is there a way in software I can fully disable the front facing USB sockets (A + C)? Disabling data only is OK, power too would be nice.
Which router?
You could try to unload / remove the driver for USB.
Sorry, I should have been specific (edited post), the openwrt Blue ONE.
Just a educated guess, because i don't own an OpenWrt One:
In the router setup, go to System -> Software, filter for kmod-usb-core, press remove. Restart the router. This should at least remove the function for the USB-A port. For the USB-C, i assume there's something like kmod-usb-serial which needs to be removed.
But: Why?
Going into a holiday home. Some guests like to tinker. If USB socket not functioning, no tinkering
