I have both ip4 and ip6 address in wan broadband.
Is it possible from router to allocate ip4 address only but not ip6 to one device- an android box ( where i dont an option of disabling ip6)?

Setup a dedicated vlan and disable RA and dhcpv6?
okay and then how to link the android box to vlan?
What's the issue with assigning ipv6 addresses?
there are two type of vlan: 802.1q and 802.1ad. in devices section. There is where i setup ? and Which one to choose?
it doesnt seem to connet automatically since i enabled ip6. I have swith on and off android box internet interface and then choose the wifi and connect.
rest of the devices an pc working okay. it is just androif box
No, sorry your are totally of track.
A "VLAN" is a (virtual) layer-2 network and "Mac vlan" is a virtual device. Don't mix them you. VLAN is the 802.1q standard.
What I wanted to say, you could setup a new and additional network like the default "lan", but for this network you would disable dhcpv6 and Router advertisement. But if you are not familiar with this it I'm not sure how I could hand hold through. The forum is full of people who want to setup a "guest" network. Look out for these threads, the only difference in your case is that you want to disable dhcpv6 and RA...
I'm not sure you can filter this kind of traffic for an individual device in the existing lan setup...
But, what exactly is your issue you want to solve? Android normally is just doing fine with ipv6 with RA.
it is allocating ip4 address to android device but i think also ip6 from the lan
How to disable "RA and dhcpv6"?
I'm not firm with Luci but not in the network tab but in the DHCP tab you can disable this but then non of your device will get ipv6
In LuCI:
Network/Interfaces/Lan/DHCPServer/IPv6Settings/
Unclick designated Master(if clicked)
Disable
Disable
Disable
Well crap, they will see it.
I need to disable ip6 allocation only for one device rather than entire network. Is there a way to do from router ?
Have you tried disabling IPv6 on the device by changing DHCP from dynamic to static?
option doesn't exist on android box...
