As I understood, NETCONF and Yang is the successor of SNMP and mainly used for automatic configuration and monitoring of network infrastructure devices like routers and switches in data centers.
While googling a bit, I found the project clixon which adds NETCONF and Yang support to OpenWrt via the packages cligen and clixon. But here in the forum I could not find anything about these tools. Both packages are added end of 2023 to the package repo (PR 22359, PR 22362, mailing list).
Interestingly, there are tons of tutorials and blog articles outside how to use OpenWrt. But nothing for NETCONF/Yang or I didn't find it.
Does anyone are using cligen and clixon for NETCONF support in OpenWrt?
