Is any OpenWRT release having Kernel 5+ version support for IPQ5018 chipset?

Hi,

Could anyone please let me know that any OpenWRT release having Kernel 5+ version support for IPQ5018 chipset? Because right now Kernel 4.4 support is there it seems for IPQ5018.

What are the drawbacks of OpenWrt version 19.07-Snapshot

Hi, I an flashing a OpenWrt image on a specific board, the version for the openwrt is 19.07- snapshot. I am aware that snapshot version doesn't have full fledged support but I wanted to know all the current draw back for this version. Because in my case "Opkg update" fails and when I check the hyperlinks regarding this command In my browser i get Page Not Found ERROR 404. No, I am different user working on IPQ5018 chipset.

I have got one reference from REDMI as given below where they mentioned that they supported OpenWRT Kernel 5.4 & 4.4 on IPQ50XX chipset.

So it seems they have did major changes to support Kernel 5.4 & 4.4 for IPQ50xx chipset. Please have a look in below links.

Those two sources are from the qsdk. They are not part of the openwrt project. You need to reach out to the maintainers of the qsdk repo.
