I think the protocol rejection for IPCP is not an issue. If your connection uses DS-Lite, it is totally normal that no IPv4 address is assigned via PPPoE.
It looks like the real problem is that IPv6 configuration via PPPoE does not work for some reason.
Aside from that, your DS-Lite config is broken. If you configure it manually, you need to specify the correct AFTR address in "peeraddr" (the examples in the wiki are incorrect, "::" is not a valid value"). For auto-configuration, remove the DS-Lite interface. A dynamic interface should be created automatically when the AFTR option is received via DHCPv6.
The ds-lite for now seems to not matter. The Error Output is the same without but saw the issue :: somewhere else already posted. Kept it in because of example configv showed it. Btw. I Run Openwrt Out of unraid vm passed through all eth Interfaces. Eth0 is vlan to unraid hypervisor. But all of this ran before under Dual Stack with 1&1. I asked isp to change to Dual Stack I doubt this will Work but will See.
After replacing harddrive with a second one having openwrt native installed. Error was the same no change.
After trying older openwrt versions 23… and 24.5 new release with the same error again. I finally found the conlusion. The draytek modem had its default firmware installed I updated the modems firmware to the latest one and finally got an ipv6 from ISP!!! I also found out that the modem sets its vlan to 7 so no need in openwrt to set up vlan.Vlan 7 is working no need for 132 for vodafone. I was already wondering why auth is working without vlan configured.
This can be configured on the modem. In the end it makes no difference who (router or modem) inserts the vlan id into the frame.
exactly what ive written above thanks bernd.
I just wanted to make it clear for other readers. I don't know why VLAN Id seam to confuse so many people. How ever, maybe the one or other reader is not aware, that this modem can set the Id on its own.
I use the Telekom Speedport in bridge mode, and I need to set the VLAN Id 7 on the wan interface on OpenWrt.
Personally I would recommend to set the Id on the OpenWrt interface, so it's clear how the frame is leaving the device.
