Ipq807x: Dynalink DL-WRX36 VLAN setup

I tried setting up a VLAN, and assigned the br.lanxx to my interface. Then assigned the interface to my wifi. As soon as I try to connect my device to wifi, it wouldn't get an IP. It shows that I'm connected but there's no ip assigned to it, it just shows ? but I don't see an IP address...

Can someone help me? What am I doing wrong with my VLAN setup?

You probably need to post your network, DHCP and firewall settings here but I would surmise that:

  1. You've got the syntax wrong - it should be br-lan.VID (where VID is the vlan ID)
  2. You didn't setup a DHCP server on that vlan
  3. Your vlan needs to be in its own firewall zone, with masquerading etc setup properly
